If you have planned a trip into the desert you should not miss going on a camel ride. This large lumbering animal is called the ship of the desert because it can take travelers through long stretches of sand without stopping for food or water. Their padded hooves settle softly on the sand as they sway through the dunes and sand storms. As a traveler you need not go through this ordeal, but can just pay the camel owner for a few “rounds” on his camel.
