Following the trend of the many great Asian horror movies, shutter is successful in creating a terrifying and tense atmosphere with a captivating as well as interesting story line. The film begins with the recently married couple of Jane and Ben being introduced just after their ceremony. Unknown of the dangers which awaits them Ben starts with a new job as a photographer before setting of for their honeymoon in Tokyo. With simple plot which is quite straight forward anyone is able to put forth probable guesses to skip the film.
What is most interesting is the fact that ghosts can also appear in photographs provided they have that strong emotional urge involving some unfinished business or an old task which is a strong enough reason to trap the ghost to this world, this is generally called a spirit photography. The plot moves further with the couple driving in a dark road where they meet with an accident and then the girl is nowhere to be found, later he is haunted by his guilt and sees the girl around the town. The story line changes when the photographer is affected by the trouble upon his wife. With all these elements being piled together, there are scenes with Ben confronting the spirit involving creepy sequences there by generating a movie –good enough to watch.
