From the maker of ‘Day after tomorrow and Independence day” is what the banners screamed but the promos of the movie looked slick .The rule of the day says that we should not expect a movie to be un-schmaltzy and sensible if it is associated with the name of a big director same goes for 10000 B.C which teaches us “only time can teach us what is truth and what is legend”. Directed by Roland Emmerich the story starts with the father of hero, the chieftain of the tribe in the mountain, leaving the tribe in order to protect the tribe people while he only informed the guy who he intended would be the next chief. With all the mountain scenes shot very well and tastily are worthy of many posters. The hero, the son of the traitor as he was called, still in his teens confesses his love to the heroine who is thought to be the savior with pretty blue eyes.
With the mammoths looking amazing , the couple grew up to look beautiful and handsome and then all of a sudden the Persian raze the tribe , taking Camilla Belle , the heroine while leaving behind the old mother who is fit only to mumble and do nothing else. Now comes all the action scenes with the hero chasing the bad guys with the massive army he made by picking some more tribe people from near by tribes .One is visually assaulted by the work of the cinematographer and you are bound to jump off your seat at the site of some really wild animals and savage beasts which have been given real and scary looks.
